Mormon Wives Star Layla Taylor Came Out as Bisexual, Then Captioned a New Video “Thanks I’m Dating A Woman Now.”
A week after coming out, Layla Taylor is holding a mystery woman’s hand in a new Instagram video and letting the caption do the talking. The woman never fully enters the frame in the July 7 clip, just a tattooed forearm and a hand in Layla’s own, while Layla grins in a way she hasn’t in a while. Over the video she wrote, “‘You’re glowing recently’ thanks I’m dating a woman now,” then added, “Chivalry isn’t dead it’s w the lesbians.”
The 25-year-old “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star isn’t naming her girlfriend yet, keeping the relationship a soft launch for now. It’s her first public gesture toward a partner since she came out on the June 29 episode of the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast, where she said, “I’m gay and I’m bi and date women and men.”
She’s a divorced mother of two who converted to Mormonism as a teenager, and until recently she kept her sexuality from even her Hulu castmates. “I’m very proud now to be out,” she said.
