6 Reasons Why He Said ‘I Love You’ But Didn’t Mean It.
If he loves you, you won’t have to guess how he feels about you, nor what his intentions are.

Isn’t it funny how three simple words can have such a huge impact on your life and/or relationships? Saying “I love you” should be a pretty big deal, yet for some, it doesn’t mean a damn thing. The question is: why? Why is he saying it, when he clearly doesn’t mean it? Unfortunately, the answer can be quite complex, but here are a few possible reasons.
1.
He doesn’t know what else to say. Maybe you’re having an argument and he can’t come up with a response, so he just throws that out there to shut you up.
2.
He knows it’s what you want to hear. In reality, you two don’t even know each other that well. Ask him why he loves you, that should clear things up.
3.
He actually just wants sex.
4.
He wasn’t using his head. He got lost in the moment or got excited and it slipped out.
5.
He’s using you.
6.
He’s immature. He says he loves you, but are his actions reflecting those words?
If he loves you, you won’t have to guess how he feels about you, nor what his intentions are. He will be constantly pursuing you. Texting, calling, and making plans to spend time with you.
You’ll never have to question whether or not you are a priority, because you’ll know that he puts you first. He’ll make time for you no matter how busy he is, and will avoid disappointing you at all costs.
He will show genuine interest in what you say because he wants to listen to you. He will support you, encourage you, and the relationship won’t be all about him.
He will want to show you off to the world, not keep your relationship a secret. And he certainly won’t be afraid to change his Facebook status because he’ll want people to know that you’re “his girl”.
His behavior won’t be hot and cold. One day talking about how much he loves you and wants to spend his life with you, then the next day he’s a total jerk and you barely hear from him.
So ask yourself this: is he willing to be the man you need, and put forth the same amount of effort as you are? Let him step up to the plate with his actions, not sweet talk. You’re worth more, and you deserve more.
