10 Yoga Poses That Are Uncomfortable For Awkward People To Do In Public
Cow Pose. Arching my butt up in the air, when someone is most likely directly behind me, makes me feel a little awkward.
1. Cow Pose
Arching my butt up in the air, when someone is most likely directly behind me, makes me feel a little awkward.
2. Garland Pose
I’m always worried I will split my pants with this one, even if they are extremely stretchy.
3. Corpse Pose
The name is pretty self explanatory, not only is this weird because I feel like I’m playing dead, but there is also the possibility I might fall asleep.
4. Standing Forward Bend
You can always see the person behind you, and if they look up and make eye contact with you, the awkward moment speaks for itself.
5. Warrior Pose On Left Foot
It’s always awkward to be the one person in the room who can’t keep balance if their life depended on it. I spend more time on two feet than one foot in this pose, which I’m pretty sure is completely wrong.
6. Locust Pose With Left Leg Up
All I can think while in this pose is, “Can I please have a pillow?”
7. Forward Bend With Hands Against Back
If there is someone in front of you, you look directly into their butt. If their is someone behind you they look directly into yours.
8. Easy Crow Pose
Looks similar to something girls would do when they have to pee in the woods, in which case there’s nothing easy about it.
9. Tortoise Pose
I’m not sure how this resembles a tortoise, but it is definitely not human to bend like that, and makes me uncomfortable when I try.
10. Fish Out Of Hero Pose
Not sure what “fish our of hero” means, but I feel awkward nonetheless. Maybe it’s the chest up, head back thing that gets to me. Namasté.
