Tara Reid Was Photographed Leaving an Urgent Care Clinic in LA, Months After She Says She Was Drugged at a Hotel Bar

Tara Reid was photographed leaving an urgent care clinic in LA, months after she says she was drugged at a hotel bar.

A single night in an Illinois hotel bar left Tara Reid hospitalized and convinced she was drugged. Police found no evidence of it, and nearly a year later the questions still haven’t gone away.

The photos, shot August 13, mark the first public sighting since a hospitalization she’s tied to a night in Rosemont, Illinois last November. No reason for the visit has been released, and no diagnosis or connection to the earlier episode has been confirmed.

Her account of that night goes like this: she checked into a DoubleTree near O’Hare on November 22, went to the hotel bar around 10:30 p.m., ordered wine, and met a man who called himself “Sean P.” They stepped outside to smoke and traded numbers. When she got back, she says a napkin was covering her drink — one she hadn’t put there. She drank, and the next thing she remembers is waking up in a hospital gown more than 8 hours later, with no memory of the ambulance or how she got there.

Rosemont Public Safety pulled the bar surveillance. “At no time did video show anyone tampering with or adding something to her drink,” their statement read. A bartender had covered the glass when she stepped away, which police described as routine. Detectives ran multiple interviews, found no criminal act, and closed the case by late December.

They stopped short of calling her a liar. “We are not saying that [Reid’s] claims are false, however at this time we do not have evidence to support it,” police said, adding they’d reopen the case if new evidence surfaced.

Reid, now 50, has stood by her belief that she was drugged. “No one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink,” she said, describing it as the scariest feeling she’d ever had and saying she felt judged and bullied over it.

Surveillance reporting from Page Six and others complicated her telling, describing her ordering and drinking several glasses of wine that night — against her account of one drink, or a couple of sips.

She’s since moved on publicly, returning to the red carpet at Cannes in May and filming an indie horror-comedy in Florida over the summer, where she’s said she plans to relocate permanently.
