Princess Leonor of Spain Ditched Her Signature Slick-Back for Messy Beach Waves at a Royal Dinner in Mallorca
The 20-year-old is known for a slick pony or bun, so the soft, textured waves cascading past her shoulders were a first. She kept her middle part and skipped the blow-out, showing up looking like she’d spent the day at the beach.
The new look landed August 4 at a dinner for authorities that Leonor and her family hosted at Marivent Palace on Mallorca. She paired the waves with soft pink blush, a matching wash of eyeshadow, and a mauvy nude glossy lip.

Her outfit was a sunburst pleated co-ord from Spanish brand Thinking Mu: a wrap maxi skirt in yellow, orange, and violet with a matching sleeveless bateau-neck top. She finished with golden braided heeled sandals from Sézane.

Leonor was the only royal to fully commit to summer style that night. Her younger sister, Princess Sofía, kept her straight hair and wore a pink-and-white tie-dye dress from Italian brand Momonì with gold Pedro García sandals and a Zara belt.
The family has a few days of vacation left in Mallorca.
