Ireland Baldwin Calls Perez Hilton a “Despicable Human Being,” Then Says His Kids Deserve a Healthy Father as He Lies Hospitalized
Perez Hilton spent years mocking Ireland Baldwin’s family and, by her account, sexualizing her when she was still a child. When he turned up hospitalized this week, she still wished him a full recovery for his kids’ sake.
Perez Hilton was hospitalized Tuesday after apparently cutting himself with a knife during a TikTok live stream from his Miami home. Fans called 911 after seeing him nude and covered in blood in what looked like “acts of self-harm on social media,” according to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
Ireland Baldwin, the 30-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, was one of the many people Hilton skewered after he rose to fame as a celebrity blogger in the 2000s. She wrote on Instagram that he “sexualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child),” and “drew jizz coming out of my mom & friend’s mouths.”
Even so, she added: “But his children deserve better and a healthy father, and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals.”
Hilton, who built his brand as a self-styled celebrity insider under his birth name Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., remained hospitalized Wednesday. His family posted an update on his website confirming he “is receiving medical care” and asking the public to respect his privacy.
