Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones Are Married
The Cavaliers star and the Grammy-winning singer tied the knot this weekend in a ceremony neither of them has publicly confirmed. Fans found out the way they find out about most things involving this couple: a video leaked.

Their first dance was to Musiq Soulchild’s “Love,” and the clip of it is what tipped everyone off. A videographer’s footage started circulating over the weekend, and it spread before either Mitchell or Jones said a word.
The guest list read like an All-Star weekend crossed with an awards show. Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson and Bam Adebayo were there. So were Russell Wilson and Ciara, who aren’t just friends of the couple: Wilson connected Mitchell with the planner behind the July 2025 proposal, and Jones has publicly called him and Ciara their mentors.

Mitchell and Jones met in 2023 at a no-phones networking event for creatives, a detail Jones has credited with letting them connect before either of them had to perform in public. Jones told PEOPLE in January that processing the engagement took a minute because she kept defaulting to career brain. “I think about my life so much like business, and I’m like, ‘Girl, you got to stop. This is the biggest contract I’ve ever signed.'”

She’s also been clear the privacy isn’t secrecy. “He has never been a secret,” she told Complex News. “I am not trying to hide him or hide us.”
Mitchell has been just as direct about her. “That’s my dog. I love her to death,” he told reporters at Cavaliers media day in September. “She brings me peace.”
The wedding lands at a career peak for him. He signed a $273 million extension with Cleveland this summer that runs through 2031.
