Brad Pitt Is Drinking Again After 7 Years Sober, and Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Has Zero Judgment About It

By

Pitt told Esquire he’s drinking again, in moderation, after seven years off it. The ex-wife who once split from him over headlines wants him to have that glass of wine.

Aniston would sit down and have a drink with Pitt herself, according to a source who spoke to Naughty But Nice. “There is no drama there. She wants him to be happy.”

The 62-year-old actor revealed the return to alcohol in a run of unusually personal Esquire interviews, saying he now approaches it with far more restraint. He and Aniston divorced in 2005, before his relationship with Angelina Jolie, and the source says the two are long past the bitterness of that split.

“Jennifer will always root for Brad,” the insider says. “If Brad wants to sit down with friends, have a glass of wine and enjoy himself, she thinks he should be able to do that.”

Others close to Pitt frame the decision to talk about it publicly as him taking control of his own narrative. “He would rather tell his own story than be photographed having a glass of wine with friends and let everyone else tell it for him,” the source says.
