For the final stop of “The Odyssey” press tour, Zendaya arrived at AMC Lincoln Square on Tuesday night in a Matières Fécales gown with a swirling bodice, a deliberately tattered train, and sculptural angel wings fixed to her back.

The wings were real, and the dress had been locked in two years ago.

“Law put this on hold a long time ago,” she told Justin Sylvester on the Live from E! Stream. “Like, two years ago.” She and Law Roach have been working together for more than a decade. “We’re usually on the same page. We have gone back and forth a few times. It’s family, so that’s how we do it.”

The dress first walked the Matières Fécales runway in Paris in March 2025. The house is the work of Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, who spent 18 months building their first collection before launching it.

Roach kept everything else quiet so the silhouette could carry the look: more than 30 carats of Chopard diamonds in shimmering drop earrings with gold hardware, and white pointed pumps with inverted heels that echoed the curve of the wings.

A day earlier, she’d been out in the city in vintage Sophia Webster gladiator sandals, leaning into her Athena character. Every outfit on this press tour has been otherworldly.
