Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Got Married on the Madison Square Garden Floor, with Adam Sandler Officiating
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony on the Madison Square Garden floor Friday evening. Austin Swift stood as his sister’s “man of honor,” Jason Kelce was best man, and both grooms and brides reportedly wore Christian Dior.

“Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Are Married!” read the statement from Swift’s longtime publicist Tree Paine, sent to The New York Times at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Outside Madison Square Garden, a digital billboard flashed the news to the street: “JUST&T MARRIED!”

Paine’s statement said the ceremony “joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.” There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Austin Swift stood as his sister’s “man of honor.” Jason Kelce was best man. Both Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior looks designed by Jonathan Anderson, the house’s new creative director, and Paine’s statement called it Anderson’s “first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.” Swift finished the look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry.

Roughly 1,000 guests in black tie streamed into the Garden through a tall black curtain set up outside the building, with a four-block stretch of Seventh Avenue closed and officers in tactical gear on the perimeter. The guest list spanned music, film and the NFL: Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Reese Witherspoon, Dakota Johnson, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Mariska Hargitay, Jason Sudeikis, Ed Sheeran, Sombr, the Chainsmokers, the Chicks, Benson Boone, and Chiefs teammate Chris Jones alongside Cooper Kupp. Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Emma Stone, Karlie Kloss and the Haim sisters were also expected. Stevie Nicks, a longtime friend of the bride, was set to perform. Phones were checked at the door under a strict no-phone policy for guests, vendors and security.

Page Six had reported a day earlier that the couple quietly handled the legal paperwork ahead of time, possibly in Tennessee, with the MSG night always planned as the celebration. The night before, about 100 people gathered for a rehearsal dinner at MSG’s Infosys Theater. The Empire State Building lit up light blue in the couple’s honor, and a thunderstorm with winds up to 70 mph was forecast to reach the city between 8 and 9 p.m., right as the party got going.
