Over 100 Team USA Athletes Took Over Las Vegas for Flavor Flav’s SHE Weekend, from a Parade on the Strip to F1 Racing at the Sphere
Six months after the 2026 Winter Games in Milan-Cortina, the American women who repped the country traded medals for racing wheels and a night at the Sphere. Flavor Flav turned Vegas into a four-day thank-you to Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic women.

SHE Weekend ran July 16 through 19 in Las Vegas, built by Flavor Flav to honor the U.S. women who competed at the 2026 Games. The lineup packed in a Las Vegas Boulevard parade, fan meetups, game nights, performances, and athlete dinners across venues like Park MGM and the Sphere.

Figure skater Alysa Liu, the 20-year-old Oakland native who won America’s first Olympic women’s singles gold in 24 years, was among the most visible names. On July 18 she climbed into a professional-grade F1 simulator at Grand Prix Plaza, full cockpit seat, steering wheel, pedals and headset, and raced teammates including Amber Glenn, Madison Chock and Ellie Kam.

The night before, Liu and other skaters met the Backstreet Boys backstage at the Sphere, with Nick Carter and Howie Dorough joining the Team USA meet-and-greet as celebrity guests.

Liu came into the weekend fresh off a run in New York, accepting Best Breakthrough Athlete at the ESPYs and speaking at the TIME100 Sports Gala earlier in the week.
