How Weird: Hunter Biden and Candace Owens Aren’t Buying That Trump Survived 4 Assassination Attempts.
“They quietly lie to us about things. They make a big deal and then they make it want to go away,” Owens told Biden during the interview, released Thursday. “We’re supposed to believe he survived four assassination attempts? The first president that’s ever survived four assassination attempts?”

Biden, who has been sober since June 2019, used the interview to deny that the cocaine found at the Biden White House in 2023 was his. He pointed out he wasn’t even there, and added that if it had been his, he wouldn’t have “forgotten it in a cubby to go into the Situation Room.”

Owens, who once called for Biden’s imprisonment, apologized for her past coverage of him. “Genuinely, I am so sorry,” she said. She told him she felt “gaslit” at the time by the open letter from 51 former intelligence officials suggesting his laptop materials were Russian disinformation, and said the Epstein files have left her feeling the same way about Trump. Biden agreed the laptop framing was its own kind of lie, calling the Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani version of events expletive-laden nonsense.
Biden also told Owens he believes phones function like “a packet of heroin” in everyone’s pocket, feeding the country’s political division through dopamine hits. He said he’s been going to confession “right here,” gesturing to the interview itself, for six years.

Both landed on the same frame by the end: this isn’t left versus right anymore. “It’s sheer evil versus good,” Owens said. Biden told her he wants to go to the Vatican with her. She told him to go to confession. “Don’t worry,” he said. “I’ve been to confession.”
