Numerology is the study of numbers. In the same way astrology is associated with the planets, numerology is associated with numbers. It could be the reason why you always meet certain people on certain days of the month. Numerology is an ancient study that draws meaning from different numbers, combinations, letters, and symbols that are in your life.

It could be why you glance at the clock at a specific time, or why all your friends share birthdays. Of course, if you have a lucky number, you don’t need numerologists to tell you what it means. You can figure it out on your own!

Numerology is based on teachings by Pythagoras. Pythagoras was a mathematician who studied numerical interconnectivity. The theory behind numerology is based on the Pythagorean idea that all things can be expressed numerically. Because the events in our lives and the things around us are ultimately reducible to numbers. He created a system that corresponded letters with integers.

Numerology can offer insight into your personality and your greater purpose in life. It can also predict future events that will be meaningful in your life. Numerology will give you an idea of how you express yourself and where you output energy.

Once you learn about numerology, you’ll start seeing patterns in your everyday life. Pay attention to them, because if they’re repeated enough, they might be telling you something.

Your life path number is determined by your date of birth. Like your sun sign, this number will determine your personality, strengths, weaknesses, and overall purpose.

Luckily, you don’t need to be a mathematician to solve this equation. First, you need to gather your supplies. You’ll need a calculator, a pen, and paper.

Now, reduce each element of your birth-date (the month, the day, and the year) to a single number. You can do this by adding together each element.

For example, if you’re born in December, the twelfth month of the year, you would add 1 + 2 = 3.

If you were born in 1994, you would add together each digit. 1 + 9 + 9 + 4 = 23. In this case, you still have a two-digit number. You should add those digits together in order to reduce them to a single digit. 2 + 3 = 5.

Once you add all of your numbers together, you will determine your life path number!

The only time you should not reduce your final number is when you end up with an 11 or 22. These are master numbers. They are incredibly special.

These numbers mean you have a higher chance of reaching your goals and achieving success.

However, they also mean you’re going to be placed in more stressful environments. It is a blessing and a curse to be connected to an 11 or 22.

You can find your destiny number in a similar way to your life path number. Instead of using your birthday, you can use your full name.

To do this, reduce your first name to a digit. Then do the same with your middle name and your last name.

Finally, add up the total of those three numbers to come up with your destiny number.

This number will show you how you’ll express your life goals.

One of the Pythagorean theories stated that each letter had a certain numerical value.

Here is a breakdown of those numbers, so you can figure out your destiny number on your own:

1 = A, J, S

2 = B, K, T

3 = C, L, U

4 = D, M, V

5 = E, N, W

6 = F, O, X

7 = G, P, Y

8 = H, Q, Z

9 = I, R

Although calculating your name will lead you to your destiny number, you can calculate any words or phrases. All you have to do is use the chart above.

It’s also a great idea to take your friend’s and family’s names and determine their life path numbers for them.

That way, you can learn more about them. It’s similar to reading their horoscope.

It will give you a better idea of their personality and prepare you for your relationship with them.
