Mark-Paul Gosselaar Showed Up to a Toronto Upfront at 52 in a Crop Top and Tiny Shorts, and the Internet Is Convinced His Six-Pack Is a Silicone Suit
Gosselaar, 52, took the stage at the 2026 Bell Media Upfront in Toronto wearing the costume from his new Crave comedy Bulges: a white crop top and short shorts that put a shredded midsection on full display.

A video posted by creator Becca Rhodes racked up more than a million views and a thousand-plus comments, most of them stuck on the same detail. His abs don’t flex, don’t shift, don’t deform when he twists or jumps. “No matter how his position changes his ab muscles don’t change at all,” one Reddit user wrote. Another spotted what looked like a seam near his left armpit.
The theories piled up fast: silicone muscle suit, prosthetic torso, ab implants, the “same shit Drake had done.”

Jonathan Popalis, co-creator of Bulges, jumped into the Instagram comments to defend his star. “I assure you those abs are real,” he wrote.
Then Gosselaar went on Etalk with co-star Shane Cunningham, who mentioned that Gosselaar is “in an 8-pack” in the show. Gosselaar’s response: “It’s all prosthetics and fillers and things like that.”

Bulges, an 8-episode series set at an all-male Hooters-style restaurant, streams on Crave later this year.
