Endings Are Often Beginnings Too
The universe lets things happen for a reason. We may not know it now but soon it will unravel right in front of our eyes, the reason for all of their goodbyes.

‘Goodbyes’ are inevitable; it’s true that they always happen sometime after saying ‘Hellos.’ It’s like with every beginning, there are always impending endings.
I have set this to my mind a long time already, reminding myself that all things come and go, especially people. The only difference between each of them is the longevity of their stay – one week, one month, one year. When I’m lucky, some are still standing here beside me, but most of the time, the ones I cherished the most are the first ones to leave my life.
I also encouraged myself to believe that this was okay – that being left alone is an ordinary circumstance, that even though you tried your best to make them stay and still leave the door, you must be the one holding the door open for them.
But who am I kidding?
Every goodbye is heartache. It leaves you in questions about your self-worth, your value, and your significance to their lives. It makes you wonder why it’s so easy for them to leave you, why they never looked back when they did, and why are they not coming back anytime soon.
Of course, it’s not okay; it will never be. It’s not okay to let them stomp on you like that and make you feel a pain that’s incomparable.
But you should also remember that it’s never okay to let this circumstance hinder you from being happy, you should know that in all endings, new beginnings await.
The universe lets things happen for a reason. We may not know it now but soon it will unravel right in front of our eyes, the reason for all of their goodbyes.
Take a good look at your surroundings. Not everyone left you, though – the ones who truly matter are still there by your side. Maybe you just didn’t notice them because you were busy chasing people who, never intended to stay in your life for a long time.
It’s an undeniable fact that it’s almost impossible to get through this, but through time, you will move on – it’s not going to be easy and fast but you will. It’s going to take weeks, months, and even years, but eventually, you’ll learn to live your life without them.
Life has so much to offer, including people who give their time and effort to let you stay in their life, hence, it’s time to open your eyes and heart to know who genuinely care for you, and not waste time trying to weave a story, a character, who will never have the courage to be a part of your tale and reach the end.
