If We Got A Rewind Button In This Life

I know a few moments I’d like to live in.

Do you ever wish you could go back in time? Just revisit a few select days, feel all those feelings you once got so lucky to feel? Relive your favorite moments in time? Laugh, smile and love with that one person that isn’t there anymore. I’m pretty sure I would if I could. Although then I’d want to press pause and live there in it because I know how it ends.

But maybe that’s why we don’t have a rewind button on life. Because if we did so many of us would rewind to a certain day, a certain someone, a certain feeling and we’d just chose to live there in that moment.

I know a few moments I’d like to live in.

That’s something I’ve learned through. We may want to go back in time to that first glance, first kiss, or even the first day you knew you were head over heels in love with them. But going back, even if we could change how things turned out why would you want to? Changing something in the past could change absolutely everything in your future. Maybe that’s what you want? Or maybe you may regret something you did to cause something else to happen or just hope things play out differently. But even changing that one little thing hoping things will turn out differently, still could have the same brutal ending. And if it wasn’t for what you went through, you wouldn’t be the person you are today. That pain we experience it creates us. The healing process helps to shape us. And the goodbyes we face always make us stronger.

We are made up of our struggles.

So if I could go back in time, I probably would, but not to change things, just to feel a couple things twice. TC mark
