I’m Not Afraid Of Falling In Love, I’m Terrified Of Not Falling In Love

I fall in love with people, places, and things.

Aren’t you afraid you’ll fall in love?

No.

I fall in love every time I walk out my front door.

I fall in love with people, places, and things.

I fall in love with the way clouds make strange shapes in the sky and the small flower that is brave enough to grow up through a crack in the sidewalk.

I fall in love with a stranger’s rare smile on the subway carrying me to work.

I fall in love with people who break me, and I then fall in love with the scars that grow back stronger in their place.

I fall in love with every sunrise I see because even though I couldn’t sleep, it means a new day is just beginning.

I fall in love with words and letters and dog-eared books.

I am not afraid of falling in love.

I am terrified of not falling in love. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
