"Electric Lady" by Janelle Monáe

While I’m a feminist and will defend to my dying day that Feminism is about equality for all, every once in a while women just need to be lifted the f*ck up. Like when, I don’t know… The House of Representatives votes to defund Planned Parenthood. Or when the wage gap isn’t properly addressed in a major presidential debate. Really, I could go on but it just starts to frustrate me. Instead, I’ll listen to these songs for a bit of feel-good bad-assery.
