24 Things To Watch On TV This Halloween
Staying in this year?
Maybe you’re gonna hand out candy to those weird little crazy people that come to your door in search of sugar.
Maybe you didn’t get invited to any Halloween parties because your friends are dicks.
Suffice it to say, looks like you’re gonna be sitting in your underwear in front of the TV for the Halloween festivities.
Have no fear though. I Mike Hedrick have compiled a list of every vaguely scary thing that’s playing on TV this Halloween to keep your eyeballs busy while your constantly unwrapping fun sized candies and stuffing them in your face.
Here goes nothing:
ABC: Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
NBC: SNL Halloween
ION: Criminal Minds (Good enough I guess)
TLC: 48 Hours Hard Evidence (Again, good enough I guess)
ABC Family: Addams Family, Addams Family Values, The 700 Club, and then The Others
SyFy: A Nightmare on Elm Street Parts 2, 4 & 5 (where’s 1 and 3), Freddy vs. Jason, and Halloween: H20
FX: Shutter, The Strangers, Zombieland, Paranormal Activity & Paranormal Activity 2
FXX: Sleepy Hollow, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (Ha), and Vampires Suck
Independent: Stand By Me
Retro: The Amityville Horror (Original 70s version)
NatGeo Wild: A four hour block of The Monster Project
Cartoon Network: Scooby-Doo: Camp Scare
Oxygen: House Party, House Party 2 & Catwoman followed by the horrifying new series Preachers of L.A.
CNBC: American Greed (for the financial types to get the spooks, The SEC knows what you’re doing)
AMC: Starting at 8am, Halloween 1 through 6
VH1: The Lost Boys
Ovation: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
BBC America: Starting at 8am, In The Flesh, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Interview With The Vampire, Resident Evil, 28 Days Later & Quarantine
Travel Channel: Starting at 1pm an all day marathon of Ghost Adventures and a special 2 hour halloween episode where the gang travels to transylvania
TVGN: Mary Reilly & Children of the Corn
H2: Ancient Aliens (christ)
CMT: Gremlins
HUB: Hub Network’s Halloween Bash
IFC: An all day marathon of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Saw 1, 2 & 3 (Crazy juxtaposition there)
That’s it. Sorry. I’d say your best bet is BBC America. At least that’s what I’ll be watching (that or the Ghost Adventures marathon).
Happy underwear sitting, halloween tv watching, candy face stuffing!
