“Done playing coy, for who and for what!” Keke Palmer, 32, wrote in an Instagram carousel over the weekend, and fans immediately read it as a shot at Sean Evans.

The fuller caption asked for “the glamour, the romance and the fun,” rejected “princess treatment” in favor of “Queen” treatment, and closed with “I’m grown with a son, no time to watch you fail. If it don’t feel like heaven, boy go to hell. Disrespectfully.”

Palmer never named anyone. The Evans read is fan-driven, picked up by Page Six and Complex, and tied to a flirtation that goes back to her 2017 “Hot Ones” debut. Evans called her his celebrity crush in 2023, they shared an on-air kiss during her 2025 return, and he appeared on her podcast this May.

At Cannes Lions in June, she called Evans “my guy,” said they were “hanging out” and taking it “day by day. One wing at a time.” As of late July she still described the chemistry as “genuine.” Neither has ever confirmed a relationship, and there’s been no statement from Evans on the new post.
