Aubrey Plaza is nearing the end of her first pregnancy, and she chose to mark the home stretch not with a polished glamour shot but with a refreshingly unfiltered mirror selfie.

Plaza, 42, is expecting her first child with actor Christopher Abbott, and the photo skips the glow entirely: unbuttoned jeans, a bare bump, and a face that seems to say, “Get it out of me.”

She posted it to her Instagram Stories on July 25, tank top pulled up over a bare belly, black jeans left unbuttoned for comfort, wearing a comically horrified expression at her own reflection.

A representative confirmed the pregnancy to People in April, calling it a beautiful surprise after an emotional year. The baby is due sometime in the fall, though Plaza has kept the exact date and the sex private.

Abbott, known for “Girls” and Plaza’s co-star in the 2020 film “Black Bear,” made his red-carpet debut with her at the Tony Awards in June. The pregnancy news effectively confirmed a relationship the two had kept quiet since the summer before.

Other photos from the same day showed the couple assembling a Bambi Baby stroller with help from the company’s CEO, Enelio Ortega, whom Plaza thanked for the lesson.
