The Erotic Thriller Is Officially Back: Kate Hudson and Ana De Armas Just Signed on to ‘Palm Grove’ from Writer James Morosini and Director Kornél Mundruczó
A picture-perfect wife uncovers her husband’s double life, igniting a seductive power game that turns betrayal into the most intoxicating game of her life. That’s the logline for ‘Palm Grove,’ the original erotic thriller set in Miami’s most exclusive neighborhood that just landed Kate Hudson and Ana de Armas as its leads.
Deadline broke the news on June 18. Specific roles haven’t been announced, but one of them is expected to play the wife at the center of the power game and the other a rival or catalyst pulling the dynamic apart.

The script is by James Morosini, who wrote, directed, and starred in the 2022 SXSW winner ‘I Love My Dad.’ Kornél Mundruczó, the Hungarian filmmaker behind ‘Pieces of a Woman’ and ‘Jupiter’s Moon,’ is attached to direct. Chernin Entertainment is producing, with Peter Chernin, David Ready, and Brady Fujikawa on as producers and Morosini executive producing.

The package is heading to the market this week to find a studio or distributor. No production start, full cast, or release window has been set.
