Allie Eklund Posted a Beef Tallow Skincare Video, Fans Called It a Dig at Kacie’s ‘McBee Dynasty’ Business

While McBee Dynasty fans have generally been on Allie Eklund’s “side” as season 3 documents her doomed romance with Steven McBee Jr, a video she posted Monday has been met with criticism.

Side-by-side Instagram video frames of a blonde woman in a camo outfit holding a jar of pink beef tallow cream and then applying it to her arm, with on-screen text about beef tallow skincare.
Instagram creator Allie Eklund holds up a jar of pink beef tallow cream in a side-by-side clip from her viral skincare reel, where she demonstrates applying the product.

The video shows Allie using a skincare product all over her body with the headline “stop sleeping on beef tallow, it might be the best thing you’re not putting on your face.”

Fans speculated the video and the timing of the post meant Allie was about to launch her own line of beef tallow skincare products. Commenters called Allie out for being “petty” and saying launching her own tallow product is tacky given the on-screen drama with Kacie’s tallow business.

Comments on Allie’s video.

Allie clarified in the comments that she is just encouraging use of beef tallow in general, which is something she has done for years. “If anything, continuing to talk about the benefits of tallow actually supports Kacie and what she’s building too.”

Allie Eklund stated the post is not meant to launch her own tallow skincare product, but just to promote using beef tallow in general.

She also reiterated that she believes Kacie will be successful and wishes her nothing but success. In another comment, Allie said “People always trying to stir up drama instead of just taking it for what it is.”

I think because Allie is a savvy businesswoman and her family owns a ranch in Texas Hill Country, the idea that she’d help her family launch a tallow skincare business isn’t far-fetched. The only issue is that launching it with the help of the publicity from McBee Dynasty, where Kacie’s tallow business provided a plotline for Allie, *would* be tacky. If Allie launched a tallow skincare business in a year, after she had some distance from the McBee show, that would be perfectly fine.
