Alabama Barker Plans to Get on the Highest Dose of Ozempic in Response to Body-Shamers
Alabama Barker is making it clear that the constant commentary about her body has taken a toll. The 20-year-old daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler addressed body-shaming comments in a recent TikTok video, where she said she planned to take an extreme approach to weight loss.
“This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic,” Alabama said in the video. “I’m going to become so skinny you’re gonna tell me I need a burger.”

She continued by criticizing the people who comment negatively on her appearance, saying the body-shaming she has experienced is “disgusting” and adding that she wanted to become so thin that critics would no longer have anything to say.
“No ass, no t**s 2027. Bye,” she said.
While Alabama’s comments were delivered with frustration and hopefully sarcasm, the message behind them highlighted a larger issue she has spoken about before: the pressure she feels from online criticism and unrealistic beauty standards.
Alabama Barker Says She’s Tired of Being Judged
Following the TikTok post, many of Alabama’s followers showed support for her response, with some saying they understood her frustration and others defending her appearance.

The comments came after Alabama has previously discussed feeling insecure about the way she is perceived online. In the past, she has spoken openly about receiving harsh remarks about her body and struggling with negative comments about photos of herself.
In 2024, Alabama said she had used weight-loss medication after facing criticism about her appearance, though she did not specify which medication she was referring to at the time.
A History of Body Image Struggles
Alabama has previously shared moments where she has focused on changing her appearance and improving her confidence. In another TikTok, she documented trying a juice cleanse while talking about wanting to “get skinny” and turning the experience into a possible series for her followers.

She has also embraced showing off her body online, including sharing bikini photos and fashion looks with her audience. Despite that confidence, she has said that public reactions to her appearance can be difficult to handle.
Her family has also been open about weight-loss journeys. Alabama’s mother, Shanna Moakler, has discussed using Mounjaro, another medication originally developed for Type 2 diabetes that can lead to weight loss, and has spoken about her own struggles with body image and confidence.
The Ozempic Conversation Continues
Alabama’s comments come as conversations around Ozempic and other weight-loss medications continue to dominate celebrity and social media discussions. While some people use these medications for medical reasons, others have discussed using them for weight management, leading to ongoing debates about body image, beauty expectations, and the pressure placed on public figures.

For Alabama, the reaction appears to be less about promoting weight loss and more about responding to the people who continue to criticize her appearance.
By turning the criticism back on her detractors, she sent a message that the constant focus on her body has become exhausting — and that she is tired of feeling like she has to defend how she looks.
