When you’re being a total asshole to a waiter, or cashier, or fast food employee, it does not make the object of your affection think, ‘Wow, he/she is clearly superior to them.’ I don’t care if you’re rich, or smart, or privileged. If you treat other human beings as peasants who are beneath you, I just find that so incredibly ugly.”
