It was my best friend and my worst enemy.

We are all in this together. So please don’t for one minute think that you are the only person dealing with these heavy, burdensome struggles.

You don’t have to settle for what society might tell you is normal.

Until you learn to be okay being alone, you will never be okay being with someone else. 

We are all human which automatically means we will mess up and fall short.

I know it’s hard to believe this right now, but there is a relationship out there waiting specifically for you. And it will feel easy.

When you feel like you’re messing up, keep going. 

Every single mistake and success and failed attempt are part of your story. They’re part of who you are and where you are going. 

Maybe we need to learn to focus our energy on falling madly in love with ourselves before we attempt to fall in love with someone else.

Let me remind you that self-care is the one true thing that will help bring complete healing to your soul.

It’s when you learn to love yourself – every awkward, wonderful, shame-ridden, beautiful part of you – that you give others the permission to love and embrace you as well. 

But, gorgeous girl, the world needs you. It needs your heart.

Every experience, whether beautiful or hard, is leading you down the specific path created just for you.

I want you to know that he’s out there. 

If they love you, they will stay. They will forgive. They will listen. They will communicate. They will fight for you.

When you have found the right soul worth pursuing, you will feel it to your very core. 

Healing takes determination to pour all of your energy into trusting that one day your heart won’t feel like it’s being dragged down by a weight.

Love should not downplay your dreams.
