College may only last four years, but true friendship lasts a lifetime.

I will not wait for you to let it sink in. To let in teem and flood your mind that it was a mistake to let me go so easily. To let it melt your heart until you realize that you are empty without me. 

I know you’re in pain now, but I promise more than “it gets better.” No, it gets positively magical. You smile for no reason. You laugh without a care. You solve a fight with a simple hug. You raise a family. You leave a legacy.

I am all for this happily ever after. But, I am more for the morning after… And I don’t mean the pill.

I know that your kiss will be the end of me, because a better me will be born through it. I know that the world as I know it will change the moment you step into it.
