Your partner isn’t growing with you. Some people enjoy being stagnant. Some people don’t like change. But that’s not you. Don’t change who you are or stop growing because of a relationship. Let go.

There is nothing more annoying than being told to relax when you’re feeling some type of way.

Not many partners may understand this, but when you have depression and anxiety, it’s vital for you to have time to yourself.

It’s taken quite some time to get to this point, but it feels good, and I can only imagine how much better it’ll feel when we’re thirty.

We shouldn’t be forced out of a job because someone is sexually harassing us. They should be reprimanded. They should lose their job. They should be hit with a lawsuit.

You wish for another week, another day, another hour to savor it all before reality comes crashing in.

I still had so much to learn about myself that I could only learn from being alone and being forced to deal with my issues. The thing about living on your own far away from family and friends is that the only distraction you really have is yourself.

If you take anything from this, I hope you learn to be confident in your own skin.

It’s easier to let go when you’re appreciative of what the friendship once was — when you’re truly grateful for the time you had with them.

Had I been putting myself first, I would have never put up with half the crap I did for as long as I did.

I’m finding that the women who are single in their mid-20s are so by choice.
