They say it’s about loving someone’s flaws. Loving someone because they are a painting of beautifully unique imperfections. But when do you finally hear that their heart is the one that beats in harmony with yours?

The truth is, that no one in this world will ever have your back like you do. And no one is going to believe in you and your talent half as much as you can.

You have to fall in love with yourself, first and foremost. You need to be whole on your own. Don’t purposely leave yourself incomplete, naively believing that someone else is meant to fill in your blank spaces.

I’m going to tell the world how deeply I feel for you, for I have never been a girl who likes to deal in secrets.

I gave up a long time ago trying to master a poker face. Mine prefers to be open and honest, always, much like my heart.

We send meaningless over-thought-out texts, instead of picking up the phone and speaking spontaneously. We endlessly ‘hang out’ with a bunch of potentials, and are scared to put labels on anything.

As the sun sets upon each day, you will have learned, you will have grown, and you will have changed. Maybe not a lot, but at least a little.

I don’t believe anybody intentionally sets out to hurt anyone. I think that we wake up each day and face our own demons, whatever shape they choose to take.

You deserve to be someone’s first choice. Someone’s best friend. Someone’s partner in crime.

His actions will match his words. Because I’ve come to realise that talk is easy, and extremely cheap.
