Celebrating the Success of Her New Album, Olivia Rodrigo Took a Girls’ Trip to Iceland
By Sari Moon
The trip capped a huge month for Rodrigo, whose third album landed on charts around the world in June. Now she’s back on US soil with a fall tour to prepare for.

Rodrigo flew Icelandair from Portland to Iceland, traveling in first class, according to sources who spoke to the newsroom. The flight left Portland the night before and touched down at Keflavík Airport at 5:30 in the morning, with no connecting flight after that.

The getaway followed the June 12 release of “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love,” her third album, which charted around the world.

She’s touring behind it this fall. The Unraveled tour opens in September and runs through May of next year, so the Iceland break leaves her plenty of runway to rest before rehearsals ramp up.
Rodrigo has been busy off the road too, unveiling a LEGO Editions collectible collaboration with the LEGO Group at the start of July.
