In my mind, a love worth having was a love that could be held on to, no matter the pain and emptiness it left me with.

Do not worry about the dust he left behind. Do not scar yourself as you gather the broken pieces of a love he never deserved.

I loved you. I loved and I loved and I loved.

It is feeling you in everything I do, accompanying me in my comings and goings. You are everywhere and yet you are not at my side.

When God is in it, everything that is meant to happen will come together effortlessly.

Do not let your loneliness drive you to compromise, giving you the illusion that you truly are happy by his side.

It is a beautiful irony that what broke me is the same thing that is healing me.

I fell out of love with him. And with every loosened heart string, I felt my spirit free itself from the bonds of a love that was never true at all.

My anxious heart will break when it finds new love because this love will be true. My heart will break because it will realize how much less it has settled for. There will be a tug of war between my place of refuge and the uncertainty of following you into the unknown.

If he truly valued me, he would have never left. He would have never left me in a pit of loneliness seemingly impossible to crawl out of.

You deserve a great love. You may have loved this person with all your heart, but a one-way love is not worth pursuing, no matter how incredible this person may seem.

Faith is so easily tested, our view of God is so dependent on our circumstances. Yet despite our shortcomings, His love for us remains.
