America, we need to have a serious discussion about the open secret that we’re living with as it cannot go unaddressed any longer.

Capitalist driven entertainment is as powerful as it is dangerous. But, in a plot twist, the moral of this story isn’t to say that either entertainment or capitalism is evil. They’re not.

This generation’s most iconic character is a clown, Heath Ledger’s sadistic Joker, but the scariest one of all lives in the White House.

Trump is stranger than fiction, less predictable than a season of Game of Thrones, and we’ve become addicted to the drama.

The most sinister aspect of Entertainment is that it is completely democratic, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Democracy sounds good in theory, but it’s not if the average American is an idiot. To be fair, the average American has always been an idiot, hence why they are considered average, but these idiots used to know they were idiots and acted accordingly.

While social media is only a tool, and not an inherently evil one, problems were always going to arise when the average American is middle-aged and older, and has only recently picked up the tool of social media that they were now being asked to wield.

It’s the first picture from the Trump administration that completely encapsulates the mood of this moment in history.
