A Prayer For When You Need God To Confirm You’re On The Right Path

I’ve been moving forward and taking steps, but underneath all of it is this fear that I’m going the wrong way. That I’ve been following my own instincts and calling it faith. That I’ve been moving but not necessarily in the direction you intended.

So today I’m asking for confirmation. Not because I don’t trust you, but because I want to make sure it’s actually you I’m following and not just my own desire dressed up as direction. Show me clearly if I’m on the right path. Give me peace that deepens the further I go, not doubt that grows louder. Let the doors ahead confirm what my spirit has been sensing.

And if something needs to shift, God — show me now, before I get further down the wrong road. Redirect me gently but clearly. I’d rather course-correct early than discover later that I’ve been building in the wrong direction.

Confirm my steps, God. Give me the kind of peace that only comes from knowing I’m exactly where you need me to be.
