I’m slowly learning how to be patient with myself as I heal from everything that broke me.

The truth is we make too many excuses for those we love but we also know that it doesn’t take a minute to text back.

There may be a lot of lessons you still need to learn about yourself and about life, but the one lesson that never fails is that you should never see yourself through the lens of those who don’t value you.

Sometimes no is enough.

I don’t have to use your gloomy glasses, I don’t have to follow your absurd rules. I can now dance in the rain instead of hiding under your umbrella.

know you can. I know you’ve been doing it for years and I know you can keep doing it for more years.

It all goes back to you, what does your heart really tell you? What does the voice inside your head whisper to you? How does it feel when you think about every choice?

Sometimes God gives you the things you want only after you go for them, sometimes he gives you what you want after he teaches you how to get there on your own.

You should be proud of yourself for trying to mend your broken heart

Sometimes the pain lingers because it’s been years of the same vicious cycle that stopped making you drowsy.

When you’re still healing from all the ways love broke you, you learn to just let go.

There’s nothing better than deciding that you still have a say, you still have a choice, you still have a voice you can use to shift your life into another direction.
