I’m worthy of love and I deserve the love that I’ve been looking for and the love that I’m willing to give.

You say you’re single but you know that your heart is taken and you have a feeling that it’s only a matter of time before you two end up together.

Like the friends who love you unconditionally and would do anything to see you smile. Like the way they hug you when you’re down and how they love the messy parts of you.

But when we try to avoid pain, we sometimes avoid pleasure. When we try to avoid pain, we avoid taking risks that could change our lives, when we try to avoid pain, we avoid loving and being loved in return.

I know that I will not have to question your love for me because I’d be so sure of it, because you will be everything they were not. I know that you will make up for all the years I was heartbroken and all the times I was mistreated.

I’m done living in this illusion I’ve created with you and I’m ready to face my reality without you.

The best kind of apology is when you try to change your behavior from hurting someone to loving them

It’s one of those days when your strength becomes a liability rather than an asset. It’s one of those days when you question how long you will have to count on your strength without having someone else to lean on or how much longer you can really make it on your own.

Because while it hurts to move on, it hurts even more to hang on. It hurts when you’re afraid of losing someone who is not afraid of losing you.

When you’re the ‘good girl’ you’ll always be misunderstood, you’ll be labeled ‘uncool,’ maybe ‘weird’ but never loved, never given the attention you deserve, never getting the ones you want because you live in a society that praises the bad and the bold, the loud and obnoxious, the ones who don’t like to sit in a corner.

Maybe we should believe that greatness, happiness and love await us because we deserve it, because we’ve already experienced enough pain and heartbreak.

His ‘likes’ don’t mean anything. He simply just double taps on a screen, that’s all he has to do to make you think of him, especially if you two haven’t spoken in a while. Don’t give him the chance to mess with your head again.

I used to think that my happiness would never be complete without you until I realized that you’re the one who’s making it incomplete.

If it wasn’t for your constant disapproval and rejection, I wouldn’t have found my own voice and I wouldn’t have found the courage and the strength to fight your voices and follow my own. Thank you for giving up on me so easily, you taught me how to fight for myself.

When you decide to let go, it doesn’t mean you stopped caring or you lost hope, it just means that you’ve reached a point where you stopped trying to make others care or trying to make them love you.

They don’t know how to let the little things go. They don’t easily forget and the smallest thing can really upset them.

Tell the boy how you feel and get an answer because you can waste years waiting for an answer and you’ll have it when he dates someone else. So just make your life easier and know where you stand SOONER than later.
