Even though it’s easier said than done, it could still be done. Even though it might take years of practice, you can still do it. Even though it takes everything in you to find it, it returns it all back to you.

I’m slowly learning that the essence of life is change and letting go is part of it. I’m slowly learning that letting go is not a bad thing. That letting go may be a blessing in disguise.

I’m over confusing butterflies with love because you don’t chase love, you don’t hold love in your hands for a few seconds before it flies away.

Every storm comes with a blessing, every storm destroys something to rebuild something else.

‘I never meant for this to happen,’ you say but it’s just bad timing and I pretend like timing is a valid reason and tell you ‘timing makes all the difference.’ Because that’s what everyone says.

Because a lot of people secretly love that you’re intimidating and they see how far it’s getting you but they just don’t want it to exist so they can remain in control, so they can remain one step ahead.

And when we hit rock bottom, you dig through the dust to find us, you use all your strength to pick us up, you carry us out of the darkness and into the light.

Maybe it’s about letting go of all the things you want to run away from, of all the things that are holding you down. Maybe you’ll find your place when you learn to stay instead of running away.

I want us to exchange secrets instead of lies. I want us to be foolishly open instead of selfishly guarded.

Loneliness is better when I’m alone. Instead of feeling all alone with you.

The problem with hearts like mine is that they’re always trying; against all odds, against all warnings, against all red flags, they’re always trying, they’re always beating, they’re always loving, they’re always falling and they’re always stubborn.

Remember that someone smiles just knowing that you’re here. You make someone’s day better, you make them look forward to something and you make them fight through hard days. Someone’s world is better because you’re in it.

I want you stay because I love you and it will be painful to watch you walk away. I want you stay with me the way I would stay with you.

If my heart was stupid, it would’ve still been yours.

It’s unfair. When you’ve seen heaven but now you have to live in hell, when you’ve had the best but now you should settle for okay and when you’ve found your heart but now you’re supposed to live without it.

Because love is a little bit more certain than ‘maybe,’ it’s a little bit more consistent than drunk texts, it’s a lot more caring that just a few special nights.

What social media ‘likes’ really mean. Does it mean they’re interested? Does it mean they’re trying to grab our attention? Does it even mean anything at all?

For seeing the best in you. For appreciating your bizarre talent, for seeing your hidden potential, for noticing the little details about you that everyone else fails to see. For looking at you like you’re piece of art and admiring you for who you really are.
