The Style Trend You Should Be Obsessing Over: Sheer, Without Slips

It's a nice idea. It's nice to suggest that I could comfortably wear this. I'm just not sure I could wear it with quite the same pizazz as Cara wore her sheer dress in the Topshop show.

Salacious seems to be the theme pervading most of the Spring/Summer 2015 collections. Salacious and…sheer. I see Lily Donaldson walk the Topshop runway in an entirely sheer dress and it looks tasteful. Why, then, do I feel it would look exceedingly less tasteful on me? It’s a nice idea. It’s nice to suggest that I could comfortably wear this. I’m just not sure I could wear it with quite the same pizazz as Cara wore her sheer dress in the Topshop show.
Still, it must be said, the sheer dress sans slip has emerged and in countless stunning iterations for the Spring/Summer 2015 season.

So, how to wear an entirely sheer outfit and still look somewhat presentable? The less sexy the underwear, the better; go for a high-waisted underwear with full butt coverage, which American Apparel sells in a range of colors. For bras, you either want to go tube and choose something that blends in seamlessly with your skin. Or you want to go the complete opposite direction; think: thick, supportive training bras.
