You’re Allowed To Be Broken
You’re allowed to be broken, damaged beyond repair. You don’t have to be fine 24/7.
You’re allowed to cry.
You’re allowed to feel.
You’re allowed to have days where you refuse to get out of bed.
You’re justified to moments when you want to quit. And times when you find yourself calling your mom crying, unsure of what comes next.
You’re allowed to a mental health day or two.
You don’t have to be happy 24/7.
Healing is never linear, it’s far from it.
Here’s the thing, life can and will get messy sometimes.
There will be moments when you find yourself broken, unsure if you want to face the world.
Trust me, I get it. The world has tested me more times than I’d ever like to admit.
Life’s not perfect, it’s far from it. There will be times when you fail. And moments when you fall and every inch of you is telling you not to get back up.
Learn how to stand back on your feet. Take it as a challenge. Realize you can and will rebuild yourself. This feeling of defeat is only temporary.
