If you are living from your heart and soul, I know how you feel. You are heartbroken, you are furious, and you feel like a fire has been lit underneath you.

You are going to find them. There are people out there who are just like you in a lot of ways and craving the ways that you’re not like them.

I think the illusion is that if we obsess over the details, then eventually, at some undisclosed time in the future, we will be able to relax, enjoy, and reap the benefits of the years of stress. I’m here to tell you that that is wrong.

What I learned long ago and eventually started to believe is that you cannot lose what is yours.

I’m not saying you should, but isn’t it kind of wild to think that you could always run away?

Love is not reserved for when somebody “chooses you”. Love is not reserved for being in love with another.

Despite all of the beauty in your heart that wants to fight for love, you know that your love is not met. You know that it deserves to be met.

Do it without the purpose of letting go
Do it as part of a process
Not the quick-fix antidote
