I feel like I could be the only person on the planet right now.

I know that my person, my Earth-shattering-can’t-live-without-you-sacred-bond partner is out there somewhere and I have zero doubt that I will meet him, but I still think about you all of the time.

Taking literally five seconds out of your day to notice this will give you a gift that mystics and philosophers have been pouring over for centuries: perspective.

I’m done picking tarot cards, I’m done checking the stars, I’m done racking my brain for a list of possible outcomes and how I could achieve them.

I hope when you open your eyes, the very first thing you think is “thank you.”

Here it is: They do.

If you’re a runner—if you dream of the places you’ll go and the things you’ll do when you get there, if your mind is always on the next idea and the next great thing—don’t stop.

If sitting still, crossed legged, back upright, in silence seems impossible, I hear you, and I have good news! You do not have to do that.

Is change uncomfortable? Yes. But something to be avoided? Absolutely not. 

Your soul is more powerful than any obstacle, any amount of suffering, any amount of failure.

Am I living for the people who follow me on Instagram, from friends to family to acquaintances to strangers?

It is really hard to win a game if you do not know the goal. You can be making every shot, but if you’re shooting on the wrong basket, you’re not going to be happy when that buzzer goes off and the game is over.
