God & Man

The Basic Difference Between Good and Evil People

By

God & Man

Part of being a good person is finding the strength and kindness to walk away even when you are holding a tinder box that could blaze through an evil person’s entire world. Even when they are mocking you, daring you to try and you have enough in your hand to destroy everything that they are, it takes a lot to just look at it and walk away. Even when they have taken everything from you. Your friends, your job, turned your family against you. It takes a lot, but you have still got to be the kind of person who will not set them aflame.

I know what I’m saying sounds crazy. I know revenge isn’t as bad as it sounds. The truth is, your piece of mind is worth it. Keeping your heart clean is worth it.

You see, good people recognise that evil, hatred and cowardice are cut from the same cloth and they must never bring themselves down to the level of those who bring that kind of destruction into their lives. Even when they have the power to destroy someone awful, good people always choose to walk away. They don’t do it to protect the evil people. They do it to protect their souls from that kind of damage, that kind of pain.

Because thats the difference between good people and evil people. It takes more courage to walk away, than to set something already exceptionally flammable on fire, just because you like to watch things burn. [tc-mark]
