I know for a fact I would struggle to place my faith in humanity to be good to my child when we so carelessly use a word that belittles an entire population of beautiful, valuable, and kind-hearted people.

The immense pressure that we put on ourselves oftentimes makes us discredit all of the things we have been able to achieve due to this first draft of life that we draw up.

I never formally came out online. And I’m wondering now if this makes me a lousy member of the LGBTQ+ community or a coward.
