The Ralph Lauren suite at Wimbledon has quietly become the one room where half of British screen and fashion turns up in the same afternoon. This year it was Simone Ashley, Andrew Garfield, Emma Corrin, Michaela Coel and Anna Wintour, all in Ralph Lauren.

Wimbledon’s Ralph Lauren suite ran on July 4, and the guest list read like a casting sheet: Simone Ashley, Andrew Garfield, Emma Corrin, Michaela Coel, Stephen Graham and Sienna Miller, with Anna Wintour holding court.

Garfield turned up with girlfriend Monica Barbaro, keeping a rare run of public outings going after a Rome dinner date the week before. He brought grown-out wavy hair and a full beard, a year on from the transplant chatter that trailed him.

Corrin and Coel came from opposite corners of the same industry, one off The Crown, the other off I May Destroy You, both dressed head to toe in the label sponsoring the whole thing.
