Jersey Shore’s Cast Was Asked If They’d Ever Do Real Housewives of New Jersey. It’s a Hard No

“That’s a hard no for me.” When Decider’s Sam Nungesser asked Snooki, Sammi, and Mike whether the Jersey Shore crew would ever cross over into Real Housewives of New Jersey, that was the whole answer. They’re fans. They just don’t run their group the way that show runs.

“I would never try and purposely hurt my friends,” the cast said. “We protect each other.” When something goes wrong, they explained, “we sit down and try to solve it, not hire private investigators to continue to attack each other even more.”

Snooki, Sammi, and Mike were promoting the final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation when Decider’s Sam Nungesser asked the group whether they’d ever sign on for Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The private investigator line isn’t random. In 2023, Real Housewives of New Jersey ran a storyline around Teresa Giudice’s husband, Luis Ruelas, being tied to famed private eye Bo Dietl digging up dirt on castmates. So when the Jersey Shore cast says they’d rather sit down and solve a problem than hire a PI to keep a fight going, that’s the reference it’s pointing at.

The final season premiered on MTV on May 7, 2026, and streams on Paramount+.

They’re fans of the franchise, for the record. The group said it plainly: “I’m a huge fan of the Housewives… but I’m not gonna be involved in that.”
