Jennifer Lopez Has Been Greeting Fans from Paris Hotel Balconies Since 2003, and She Did It Again This Week
Lopez appeared behind the wrought-iron railing of La Réserve Paris on July 7, waving and smiling down at fans gathered on the street below in a white strapless gown, hair swept up, red lipstick, drop earrings catching the light.
She’s been staying at La Réserve during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, and the crowds outside had become a fixture. Over the same stretch she signed autographs for waiting supporters and cycled through look after look, including a Michael Kors feather jacket over a black bra top the day before.
The balcony is where she’s done this before. Backgrid, which captured the moment, has her greeting fans this way going back to the Crillon Hotel in 2003, with return appearances in 2010, 2013, and a 2022 honeymoon stop alongside Ben Affleck.
No speech, no song, no lingering. She waves, the phones go up, and she goes back inside.
