This Game Made $2.4 Million On Steam In Only Four Days

Wasteland was released in 1988 as a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, Fallout-esque game released by Interplay Productions. In fact, Interplay took Wasteland’s general atmosphere and concept to create the successful Fallout franchise. In 2013, Wasteland was digitally repackaged and sold by inXile Entertainment.

inXile started developing Wasteland 2 approximately 2.5 years ago. The final product was released on September 19, 2014 on Steam. It received very good reviews from users. The deluxe edition, which includes the original Wasteland game, a copy of The Bard’s Tale, three novellas, the Wasteland 2 OST, and a concept art book for $59.99. That’s a pretty great deal and others thought so too, because inXile has, so far, made over $2.4 million in profits.

Now, the question remains. Will you buy into the Wasteland saga? Thought Catalog Logo Mark
