Staying in this year? Maybe you’re gonna hand out candy to those weird little crazy people that come to your door in search of sugar. Maybe you didn’t get invited to any Halloween parties because your friends are dicks.

There’s something in the air in the early mornings.

You know you’re a defect.

Stress has come and gone from my life, depression, mania, delusions, the entire gambit.

There’s that dude in our lives. You have to call him a friend because somehow or another he’s weaseled himself into your social circle and has been a constant there since maybe high school, but whenever you’re around him, you just feel like kicking something.

A sick little facet of this is that people get a kick out of the idea that their grass is greener too.

The rain slowed down a bit that night and I can remember thinking how humid it was which is a rarity for Colorado.

There are two different lives each of us leads.

I’d be lying if I said attraction didn’t matter because it does, but manipulating someone into seeking your acceptance isn’t attraction. It’s just manipulation, plain and simple.

A simple life can be a beautiful thing. A quiet existence where your impact on the world is minimal aside from your family can be comforting.

You need to know though. That it’s ok to feel like that.
