I think that this is a misguided approach to discussing class privilege.

There is a sweet, soothing familiarity in being with someone you’ve known for a long time, someone who imbues a sense of security in you that you couldn’t find elsewhere.

Most of the time, I just want to stuff my face with fried or sugary foods — foods that I used to compulsively deny myself because they would (naturally) go straight to my thighs.

I’ve learned how to perfect the art of vomiting after meals, drinking sips of water in between bites of food so that it comes up easier when I’m done eating.
