When The Leaves Begin To Change Color, You Will Have Your Answer

One never knows what lies ahead as the future has yet to unfold. Once active living in the present becomes the main mode of daily operation, the fear of the unknown becomes less daunting.

What is it that you’ve been reflecting on either for a long period or in the recent past? Once you can answer this, it’s only a matter of time that the response will arrive and the next steps on how to proceed will become visible. But the funny thing about time is this; it’s neither here nor there in regard to the functions of the universe and how it’s conceptualized within manmade constructs.

If the possibility of “Divine Time” is considered, it’s the belief that one is actively being guided to reach his/her highest potential. However, it’s ultimately one’s choice to decide which path(s) to take or reject for personal growth. Experiences ultimately provide the “route” in order to proceed forward and arrive at various destinations planned out on each individual’s life’s map.

If for a moment, there is acceptance that everything is written, peace can be made internally and with others—which highlights the process of free will. Sooner or later people, places, and things show up and/or dissolve for however long or little of a duration of “time” their purposes must be served. This in itself makes the pain of loss a little bit more bearable; although one could never be fully prepared. It also makes the excitement of exploration and discovery that much more beautiful. Without suffering, joy isn’t able to be understood—and vice versa.

Returning back to a pre-occupation, crossroads, a decision, change, or a needed sense of clarity that you currently are seeking, it’s truly in the works. It may or may not bring the outcome that you think you need/want, but the resolve is right around the bend. Many times, being absolute and inflexible only causes conflict; both internally and externally. But by letting life open up and not pretending or guessing to know what’s best for yourself and others, the daily miracles can be revealed and received without heightened expectations. Yet they can be embraced and celebrated with a sense of gratitude.

One never knows what lies ahead as the future has yet to unfold. Once active living in the present becomes the main mode of daily operation, the fear of the unknown becomes less daunting. Spiraling patterns of thinking, projecting, and speculating start to calm down. There are even those beautiful moments in which the preoccupations are forgotten about and finally the resolve comes to pass.

As the autumnal equinox arrives, so will inner balance. As my father said to me the other day, “You know honey, once the leaves start changing color and falling, you’ll have your answer…” Only time will tell; it’s almost here…as the same is true for you. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
