They say that you grow through trauma. They say that you become stronger from going through trauma.

My breakdown was my breakthrough in disguise, as it taught me to reevaluate my priorities, behavior, and boundaries.

I’m not a fun person, rather, I was wired for damage control.

I am accepting that I can be who I am. I am learning to understand the way God sees me.

You saw my despair, and You reminded me that love is still able to manifest in many other ways.

You felt what you felt. What you feel is valid.

We’ve been often taught to take the high road, be the bigger person, and be patient. But there is a limit to this.

“Where are you going, don’t leave me alone. How do I follow you, into the unknown?”

We may not fully understand why things had to happen the way they did. But who knows? Your rejection could be making way for something better.

You are allowed to say that you feel a certain way, regardless of whether others think you should be over it by now.

Detaching yourself from toxic people does not necessarily involve big, dramatic, swooping statements accompanied by tantrums and tears.
